All I know about weed is that I recently settled some outstanding accounts from my grandfather's estate and gave the cash to my older brother, who doubled it by investing a company called CGC that does weed stuff.

Just had the talk with wife and she approves. This week at work I'm going to call our Life Department and phrase questions regarding approval and what not. After that, search for a consultation.
What I'm looking for is something like in the below video. Don't mind the over the top production and what not. Start at 15:10 for edibles. The thing that really interested me was the lemonade. That's what I'm looking for. Like, I can have a glass of infused whatever at the beginning of my day but not be super high like if you were at a party smoking the whole night. And then, if need be, have another drink during the day.
I hate weed culture man. Weed fried chicken sounds gross. Just give me gummy edibles with low MG dosages and we're money.
OK so we've talked more in depth at work regarding this and overall it seems like no one really knows how to handle it. We do not perform an actual drug test if you have a mini physical (happens with higher value policies or depending on how questions were answered). There is a question about using any drug, but it's a simple yes or no. If William Smith says he doesn't do drugs when I'm filling in his application I have to say no even if I see track marks and he has no teeth.
About the only concrete negative it would have an effect on is smoker rating, so if you smoke at all you will get hit with that. I asked about edibles and there was a lot of um err we're not sure etc. When asking how it would be found in a medical record it was said it's not because primary physicians do not give out MM cards. If it was in a medical record it would be an auto-deny because MM is supposed to be for critical use only and life company would not approve that because of the high risk.
So now to figure out who to talk to in my area and talk about edibles. I do not want to ever smoke. I'd really like to do something like the lemonade where I can basically make a batch for the week. Do centers give out for purchase the liquid or whatever the term is like in the video above?
This seems strange to me the idea that MM is for "critical use only". I know there are a lot of jokes about there about the MM cards and its use specially before it was legal recreationally in a lot of places because everyone was getting their MM cards for all sorts of silly reasons just to have it. But there are other legitimate uses that are not "critical" for instance my friend has had success in using it to help alleviate regular migraines or what about using it to help with back pain? Does the Insurance company not consider those legitimate reasons to use MM?
From what we discussed if underwriting wanted to approve a policy based on non critical use of MM they would want documentation from a physician and would ask how often it is being used. Here is where things start to get slippery, at least in my opinion. Say you use it for back pain but you do not smoke, you only do edibles. How is an insurance company going to rate that say vs someone who smokes? And if someone says they do it once a month but in actuality do it three times a day, how is an insurance company going to truly know?
After this talk today I feel like they basically do not know what to do with it but will not ever say they don't know or admit not being knowledgeable regarding the topic. I only have a $50K Universal Life and a $100K 20 year term. That is nowhere near enough and that's why I want another policy and am being so anal about this because I REALLY want to get off SSRI if this is a great option to help with anxiety.
