Farmers in MN are now allowed to grow hemp, but it's getting push back as many still think it's marijuana. The state feels that hemp will help stimulate the economy.

Southern MN farmers are dumping corn & soybeans for hemp. The farmers have learned that there are more buyers for CBD oils than there are sellers. Only downside is that banks won't support them despite it being a legal product. Older generation Americans are also embracing the oils for pain relief over opioids. Many say it helps them sleep.

CBD very slightly helps with my anxiety. Not enough where I could drop SSRI though. For instance, I take 50mg of Paxil daily. Go to work and a situation happens that makes me feel like I'm going to have an attack. Three droplets of CBD 100mg would calm me down a bit, but if something happened say an hour later I'd need more. It's not enough for me.

Yup, pretty much. If you ask for cbd they know you're in it for the medical effects and not the high. It will def even you out but you wont be a couch potato or paranoid.

Yes, ask them for a CBD pill or edible. You can say you're not looking for a high, just something to mellow you out.

I think there was a strain called Dark Star or Death Star or something that my friend got for the same reason.

My doc is not a fan of anything other than SSRI's. I want to get off of them but can't be on nothing for my anxiety.

SSRIs are a sledgehammer and i understand wanting to get off them, but you should keep your doctor in the loop if you want this to be successful. Depending on your dosage, they may want you to do a step down before stepping off. SSRI hangover may mask the effect of CBD (even if it works for you) if this isn't done right.

Yeah I've read how people that tried to go cold turkey got fucked up real bad. There is a term for it but I'm not looking it up here at work. Straight up CBD 100mg does nothing for me even on SSRI so that's why I wanted to explore. I don't want to be high. I just want to not explode when my pen falls off my desk (exaggerating).

Look for a doctor that isnt old as shit. The younger ones in the same field would be more likely to work with you on dosage or trying something different. Older doctors know what worked, even if it didnt work great, and stick with it a lot of times. Of course the opposite of this advice is sometimes true. Truly, just tell your doc this is what you want to do and ask that they help you magae your SSRI while you do it. They should be willing to help.
