How they go about it, it could just be a new heroin for the black community. Addiction treatment scams are all the rage right now.

Except marijuana doesn't have any addictive properties...
*physical addictive properties
That doesnt mean it's not habit forming and can lead to psychological addiction, which does happen and is not talked about enough.

To compare it to heroin, though. One kills you, one does not.
I think addiction comes in many forms, and any one of them can ruin your life like heroin ruined many black communities for generations.

I dont think the choice is one or the other but ok.
If the NAACP is against it, I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and explain why they dont support said policy. It seems like an easy slam dunk of a law, but that's not always the case when you read the fine print.

This, 1000 times, this. Prohibition creates crime. Drug addiction should be treated as a public health problem not a criminal problem.
Look at Portugal.
https://filtermag.org/2019/02/28/por...use-explained/
In 2001, Portugal was experiencing an opioid-involved overdose crisis, similar to the one gripping the United States. The country used criminalization and incarceration to try to manage drug use, while HIV rates among people who use drugs were the highest in Europe.
In response to this emergency, Portugal launched its decriminalization program that year, and the rest is history. Overdose deaths have plummeted by 80 percent, while the percentage of drug users diagnosed with new HIV infections fell from 52 percent in 2000 to 7 percent in 2015. Rates of problematic drug use and drug-related incarceration have also fallen, while numbers of people voluntarily entering treatment for substance use issues have increased.
Portugal didn't just decriminalize drugs and call it a day. They decriminalized drugs and then brought anyone with more than a dimebag in to see doctors, mental health professionals, and addiction specialists.
You could still be fined for sitting on a pile of drugs. They still did everything they could to get people off of drugs. They just stopped throwing drug users into jail.
As far as weed goes, the science is pretty far removed from the kind of genetically boosted stuff you see in actual vendors. No one has done any solid research in the US about what those levels of THC will do to the human body.
Plenty of case studies exist.
Holy shit i didn't think it was that off. That's like saying we should study the impact soda has on obesity, but only study diet.
Well shit that would definitely explain why observed effects on users are so different than controlled studies we do
I use a Ghost MV1. It's for dry herb so it's clunkier than pens, but it's fully convection as opposed to conduction. It's more of an on demand use than some of the other, similar devices which are more of a session thing. The main complaint people have is that it's "complicated," but I really didn't find it complicated to use. The worst thing is that the battery takes a while to charge if you don't have the fast charger.
Also, I somehow broke open the battery casing on line and now I have to try to super glue it back together or something because it won't just snap together again.
Look around Reddit vaporents for some ideas. They have a few links on the side for reviews and rankings that may help you sort out what you're looking for if you're interested in dry herb vaporizers rather than concentrate. Mine can actually do concentrates as well, but I don't know if that's common for most of the vaporizers they discuss.
Looks like r/oilpens for that type of vaporizer.
I've seen some good things about the Xmax Starry recently.
Drug test passed and I need to re-up on my cbd capsules. May get the cbd oil with the small thc to test during my break before the new gig.
