Not at all, that would cost too much. You'll be required to go to a designated gaming zone in your city where they can supervise you. And you'll have to stand in line to get in, as they only have access to a hundred or so computers at a time.

Well its cool to get in, play for a bit, then it shows that the servers are disconnected, but still lets you play, although you then have to play the "lets see if anything I've done in the past 40 minutes actually saves to their servers!" game.

I mean, are we supposed to just shut the game down once it announces that its lost connection to their shitty servers? Do we keep playing? Is it a waste of time to keep playing?

What do, EA? You guys apparently know everything.

Still no official word from PR that ive seen either. In fact the only official word ive seen is "when it launches in eu well be better prepared". Slap to the face if ive ever seen one.

hey guys lets make a primariky single player require an internet connection and makevsure dat save data is stored on notoriously unstable servers too instead of locally where it belongs

Had a good experience today. Played a private region for 8 hours. Had two cities going. Got a message that said my city wasn't being processed properly and needed to restart. Wiped all my data.

I'm really learning that to reach the top in this game, you must either play with someone else or run 2+ cities in the same region. A single large city's needs are just too great, with too small of an area, to manage it with just a single city.

I've learned you don't need as much industrial zoning if you specialize. I ended up demolishing a tonne of industrial zones because I didn't have enough people working. Ended up with like 2 coal factories, 2 ore factories and like 5 shipping centers. My monthly budget is in the negative but I make so much from exporting ore and coal it more than makes up for it. Not sure if I'm playing the game right.

edit: also as time goes by, the error seems to change. I can get in game and the game no longer says server isn't available but I only see empty games (including my own, 0 players) and can't join any games. Seriously, what are they doing? These errors change on an hourly basis.

btw, how large is the game supposed to be?

When I installed it it says 12,7gb, but after it installed I checked the game folder, and it's only 3.8gb. So I installed it, and after many crashes and retries, it went up to 5.8gb. Then when it was done installing it crashed once again, the game was once 3.8gb.

Is it supposed to be 3.8gb, or isn't it installing the entire game?
