I held off pre-ordering this due to the ridiculous pricing and these server issues are enough to put me off buying it for a while.

Which'll likely not include the $500 in 'DLC' they release between now and then if they plan to milk SC5 like they did Sims 3

Only started playing SC4 last month (thanks Steam sale), should hold me over until SC5's all matured and not busted. Pain in the butt figuring out the AI quirks though.

I like the cooperative building setup SC5 has going for it, which scratches an itch I've been wanting since SC2000. Group up with friends, decide who gets to work on what, and then have at it while sharing resources and seeing what you all can come up with.

I work in Customer Support in which I manage almost all of PR issues. We don't lie to our customers, we simply address their concerns (blanket statements), get them situated with what we need to do and act on what would benefit the company with our customers (I don't bullshit people, I just want to do the action that would shut them the fuck up - but theres a lot of angry retards that want it their way that simply wont mend)

I would say that EA is the antithesis of PR. Not only are they unwilling to properly address their customers, but they're refusing to refund them + they're never going to change their business model.

EA: The only company that patches their games to have less features, within a day none the less! Patch -1.02 makes far more sense.

I seriously hope this continues, gets progressively worst and just blows up in EA's face. Could care less if I could never play the game again if this sets a precedent for all other online only single player games.
