Call it being placated if you want, but I think most people, if not all, are still gonna take their free game. If they stay with EA or not is another story. I am done with them personally and this is the only EA game I had even bought in years.

Some of us just don't care. I'm more upset about being lied to about the Glassbox engine than the always online DRM.

Microtransactions and DRM are going to happen because it makes the shareholders happy.

Kinda hilarious how the free download list features titles like Battlefield 3, Mass Effect 3, and Dead Space 3... then you get to the bottom and see Plants v Zombies.

This exploit is similar to one found before on Steam—only those links start as "Steam://."

So ya not just Origin.

imo, he was sacked mostly due to SWTOR flopping, but this was the final straw.

Honestly I think the Sim City thing is a non-factor considering it sold pretty well. Dead Space 3 flopping is a much bigger reason.
