Chrome freezing up randomly.

The past couple of days, when I visit certain pages, regardless of the site, Chrome will just lock up, specifically in that particular tab, but freeze there nonetheless. If I live the tab open I'll get a message that pops up over and over again, "The following plugins have stopped working: Unknown."

Can't find any info anywhere else due to said problem, please halp

Did you try to uninstall and reinstall, that ususally fixed every chrome issue I had so far.

Have you updated components such as: Java, Adobe products, or browser add-ons?

i've seen a number of cookies that have been causing random crashes of chrome in the last few weeks.

my chrome HATES flash.. shit will just lock my shit up and freeze it.. usually I will just run that site in FF

I had a chrome problem like that a month or 2 ago. I don't remember the exact fix but the problem was something like 2 versions of flash/whatever installed at once and I just had to delete the older version.

yeah iunno, it's on my work PC. it doesn't happen on every flash site but it happens sometimes you can avoid it it will give you an error msg asking if you want to stop running the plugin (flash) if you say yes it just disables all the flash but saves your other tabs from crashing out
