The "Edison is an asshole" sentiment is almost entirely true. He was an asshole that forced the US to build DC infrastructure despite AC being obviously superior and had enough financial/political clout to keep the game going until he died.

The "Tesla is one step short of inventor-God" stuff isn't all true. Also, they take some liberties with history. Fearing Nazi U-boats in World War 1? Something is a little off thar. There were U-boats, but there weren't Nazis. I don't want to fact check all the obscure claims that were made in that huge .gif, but if it gets that wrong then I don't have much faith in the rest.

Okay, but we entered WWII in 1941 (Europe in 1942) and Radar was invented in 1935. Unless Edison's grandchildren were in the habit of riding shipping freighters from the US to Great Britain (which still would have been after 1935), I don't think there is much danger of them getting hit by Nazi Torpedos.
