I'm the other way around. I tried to learn how to knit but I failed horribly at it. I'm self-taught with crocheting after my grandmother died, because I wanted to carry on her legacy. I like to crochet afghans:

Decided to take pictures of my new addiction, making dudes in sweet ass armor in Soul Calibur 5's character creator. Giant dump, few things that probably aren't noticeable without explanation are Avatar Korra, Nobuo Uematsu as an actual ninja, Prince Luzaf, and a handful of Dark Souls characters. They are absolutely stunning! I'd love to curl up in one of those and then just marvel at their intricacy.
I've only been knitting for a few months so I'm nowhere near 'skilled', but hopefully practice makes perfect...
