Images like this always make me wonder why people aren't taught how to fall properly anymore... When doing a sport dangerous enough that you need a helmet and pads, why do you not learn how to prepare your body to hit the ground in such a way as to make injury less likely/less severe? I learned how to fall at like 8 years old, when I was learning horseback riding...

His rotational momentum and the smooth/curved surface of a half-pipe... there's not a lot you can do to get ready for a fall like that. Skateboarders, by default, know more about how to absorb falls than most people.

It's ok, that was my first thought too. But then i realized that sometimes people put things called shoes on their feet, and it was probably that.

I like my bright colours and unusual styles. I can't think of a worse fate than being instantly and utterly forgettable. It's just my opinion, of course, but dressing like "everyone else" just seems like a waste of time; I know my eyes just gloss over those people like street furniture.
