I don't care to rummage it up, but I think it only went as far as a developer acknowledging how tedious and inconvenient it is that the cooking recipes are so realistic in that they take so many different ingredients for a single synth, on top of the fact that there are an excessive amount of different cooking-related items (every fish, vegetable, fruit, dairy, spice, herb, seed, etc.). I don't think they said they would actually do anything about it, but just a mention that they wanted to simplify it a bit... which might mean pulling out small meaningless spice/seasoning items that are only used in 2-3 recipes tops (mugwort for example).

Well, they had a huge list of deleted food items that came out during the DoL gathering reforms. I think that was their way of cleaning it up. We had like 3 different types of nuts lol.

What I want to know is if they have any intention to use the status effect potions for anything later on, such as adding status effects to weapons like before. I don't care to make paralyzing potions and the like if all I can do is throw 'em at enemies.

All I can think of regarding their error is that I saw 3 different types of Mistletoe. Mistletoe, Tinquola Mistletoe, and some other kind. I did think that was a bit strange at the time.

Welp, be prepared to see all those high-level fish removed from the list.

3 Mistletoes > Mistletoe
2 Truffles > Black Truffle
Puk Egg > Dodo/Chicken Egg
etc.

I wonder if it means they'll be removing/changing the recipes that said they'd be using Imp/Ahriman Wings, since their old "items not used in future recipes" listed them (among many other things, like Drake Scales). At the very least, I hope we see a new updated version of the 1.19 "items not used in future recipes" list. I was kinda pissed when I saw Ahriman/Imp wings in the new recipes, since I junked all those items back in 1.19.

Edit: Huh, well my assumption was completely wrong. The three mistletoes, two truffles, puk eggs, imp wings, ahriman wings, and drake scales are all still in the updated list of new/revised recipes.

For those who care to use them, I've noticed that the Lodestone has updated their recipe list with 1.21 recipes.

Haven't found where black pearls drop. Tried the jellyfish mobs in various places to no avail. Anyone got the lowdown on this one?

I was told "Anemone" specifically, maybe just the red ones? I was also told that the drop rate is horrible.

That would explain it. Killed about 30 with no drop then moved on.

Eh, even at like ~44 I can get black pearls like 20% through synthing, I imagine 50 w/ decent gear can make them much more often

They drop from goblins. Not sure if they all drop em but the ones in Mordor by MNK6 do (R50-54). I'd peg em at around 10% droprate.

Anyone know where vampire plant drops from? I actually got one from R40 treespeak leve as a reward. Made an elixir and have yet to test it out.

Description says HP regen +50% (up to 2000). MP regen +30% (up to 1000). Timer 7:30.

We got two or three off of killing the Ogre in Darkhold.

I got one from a chest in Darkhold (ogre chest).
Unless it dropped from the mob and I didn't notice the difference...
