On behalf of the mods I'd just like to point out that pretty much everything sono says and does is done unilaterally and rarely reflects the opinions of the rest of the mod team (or a reasonable individual).

Good grief...I think most of you will agree that even if you disagree with my views/methods I've at least always been fairly transparent re: mod things, so here's what the fuck:

1) Disliking solanis is an overwhelming majority opinion, if not an outright consensus among us mods.

2) The policy is to not ban someone just because we don't like them, without them explicitly hitting the criteria set for banning, which yes, can sometimes be a little arbitrary, meaning that...

3) Just because we try not to ban based on not liking someone, it doesn't mean we can't or never do. We're the moderation/administration team, if you don't like it go make your own fucking website.

4) Read the thread. I like Sera, but her posts crossed the line just as much as anyone else's, her ban was deserving. Just because Demo calls me a faggot, it doesn't give me immunity on calling him a nigger, etc. For that matter I personally feel Lucavi should have also been pinched but I have a job and I'm not about to dig through that shit thread on Tapatalk.

5) That subforum is the worst and anyone who posts there regularly should feel ashamed.

6) McDonald's has 2 for $5 on quarter pounders and the fact that I've managed to swype-text this much without shitting myself is amazing.

7) My views and opinions do not express those of every mod or admin, except for Qalbert, he's a piece of shit so fuck his opinion, just use mine for his.

I get it, but you also rely on a few grand in donations from the user base every year. Bans shouldn't be on the whim of admins or mods, it should be based on the amount of complaints generated by the user base ( aka donors, money pot, honey hole )

They are about 98% of the time, though the number of people who complain about the number of other people is staggering. I myself was guilty of a whim banning, and mine was overturned as well despite every mod and the vast majority of the user base being in favor of it
