Banshee Bomb (fuel rod in banshee, this is what bungie called it in the stats page) has been usable since... i wanna say halo 3?

the banshee is still a potent weapon, but its much harder to stay in it for very long. it's always had low durability, and it's gotten more sluggish (the evade moves aren't even worth doing anymore- only boost is worth it). The weapons shoot faster/do more damage, though, so you can actually get kills with the plasma weapons. Same applies to the Ghost, though that has always relied more on its mobility for survival.

but yeah, one clip from a sniper will kill anything short of a tank (either sort), if you hit the right spots. Banshee and ghost will explode even if you don't hit the right spots. Pretty sure even the Mantis will die to one clip if its shields are down first. Vehicles in general are squishy.

Also its ABOUT FUCKING TIME that MLG got their shit together. Settings look legit, gonna check out the maps later tonight.

Not gonna lie, 343 listened and really made Spartan Ops a lot more fun. Episodes 6 and 7 are really well done. 7's off to a good start.

Episodes 3-5 aren't bad, but the story gets more interesting afterwards since it deals with Halsey and Infinity rather than Requiem. I'd at least do the RvB levels in each episode.

I can't find any definitive answer on this with a cursory google search so I figure I'll ask here:

Do you need to be on the specific DLC maps and/or playlists to get the DLC map pack achievements?

So like can I get some of the Crimson DLC achievements on say Ragnarok or do I have to be on one of the 3 maps from Crimson map pack and/or the Crimson DLC playlist?

You have to be on one of the 3 maps from Crimson. It doesn't have to be the Crimson playlist. Majestic maps for Majestic achievements. They're a lot easier this time around since it's 8 players total instead of 12 and loadout specific rather than map attributes.

Necro but as a last ditch to get an answer on this maybe one of you will know.

My friend and I cannot do Co-op no matter what we do, we can't make it 10 minutes into a campaign mission or spartan ops before we both just get kicked. It happens between two other friends as well and we can't figure it out.

All of our NAT types are open, we've tried it with each of us hosting. There's no input lag, nothing else, just straight up we disconnect for no reason. Is there a way to fix this or not? I've googled and I can't even find anybody that has the same issue.

try LANing it? campaign and spartan ops are the laggiest parts of the game, so it may just be you exceeding bandwidth. do you guys share an ISP? does the rest of your internet flicker when it happens? does someone have shitty electrical wiring in their house? flickering power source could do that.

We can't LAN it, we live on opposite sides of the country. Not a power issue, and the internet connection is fine.
