When people ask me how it was I respond with "Well, it was a movie" and that's about it cause that is how I feel about it.
Kicked it w/ a bunch of friends. It was a good time, no alcohol required.
Sounds like I'll just wait for the rated R cut.
It's super short, so while I'd normally say wait for the bluray, I dont feel bad saying catch the matinee. It's only like 90min when you take out credits and extra scenes.
Fyi you can skip the post credit scene. It's just a preview for the new spiderman flick.

Still a time commitment going to the theater if I'm hoping/waiting to watch a different cut of it. Doesn't interest me enough to do so.
I forget the subtitle. It's the animated multiverse one, not the new tom Holland movie.

Oh I was slow, nvm
Surprised no one has commented on the Stan Lee cameo in this. Thought this was one of the best one's he's done.
I actually really liked this movie. Venom was exceptionally well done. The only complaint I have is the casting of the villain. The actor could have done a better job. I'll watch it again on BR.
Confirmed certificate holder here.
I didnt like the body type they put on venom. Hes always been larger and more muscular than spiderman, but he looks wonky here and ran awkwardly. The cgi when he melted into the road and dashed like in some MvC game was on point though.

The CGI was A+. They played the Aquaman trailer before my movie, and it was night/day how much better Venom looked than Aquaman. I was kind of surprised at the amount of money they must have dumped to a team for this.
I saw it. It was kind of dumb but I liked it. Not a terrible way to spend 90 minutes. Eddie/Venom banter was pretty funny.
Yeah, I love how the BG consensus on this movie seems to be "stupid movie with several problems but I liked it."
