Looking at the Darklight gear and some of the JSE I don't know why SE doesn't just give tanks a stance that boosts enmity generated so they can stop mucking around with enmity+/- stats on gear. It doesn't necessarily be a giant boost to enmity but it should make it where a tank using their skills fairly well can keep aggro in most cases.
There's not going to be any balance between those unless we get lockouts (without lockouts, doing anything but spamming the last raid is a waste of time) or gearswaps. People will probably rage about either of them being added though.
As things are, it really feels like events/items are going to be either useless-on-arrival or replace everything else the second they're added.
