The patcher is stuck at 9% 0.0B/s -.- Does anyone have a link to the torrent version of the patch please? This is killing me. I have never had to torrent a patch before.

The thing the patcher uses is a torrent file, so you already have it.

This is the path to it on my Windows 7:
E:\Users\username\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV\downloads\ffxiv\48eca647\metainfo\D2012.03.07. 0000.torrent

Operating system, install drive, and user name will obviously change for you.

I'm mixed on Mnk. On one hand, conserves fist MP is awesome. On the other hand.... There will always be a Brd in the party, and a Brd with AF body completely nixes fists MP cost anyways.

There's not going to be any balance between those unless we get lockouts (without lockouts, doing anything but spamming the last raid is a waste of time) or gearswaps. People will probably rage about either of them being added though.

As things are, it really feels like events/items are going to be either useless-on-arrival or replace everything else the second they're added.

Indeed, not really sure how I feel about it all ultimately.

Looking at so much of this stuff I've already forgotten materia exists and don't care to fuss over it in all it's frustrating glory.

I am just wondering, I always thought Bards would use a flute or something if they don't have a bow-harp equipped. But no bow-harps in-game yet, so how do they buff. Squeeky singing voice like in XI?

Haha went to get an early dinner instead of sitting here hitting F5. Some of this gear is fucking absurd (e.g. Darklight). I like how they are finally using some "cool" stats like Crit Potency, etc. in gear.
