this is kind of a loaded poll. If you're eating beef tongue or carnitas you want a soft corn tortilla, or flour even works too. For ground beef or steak it's hard shell all the way.

Until recently—unless you count the enchirito of times gone by—Taco Bell didn't even have soft corn tortillas. Considering, you used to not have much of a choice. Nowadays, I don't know, as I haven't tried their new soft corn tortillas. Considering that most domestically-made corn tortillas taste like wet cardboard, though, I'm not very interested.

I'm not from Texas, nor do I live there. I'm in Southern California, where the homemade corn tortillas are soft, not at all mealy, and delicious -- when they're bought from an authentic source, anyway.

Most Italian joints aren't even run by italians here gg. If I go to a pizzeria in Brooklyn, chances are good that Mexicans are running that shit unless it's a high tier one. And even then I can guarantee they prolly got Mexicans involved somehow in the process.

While this Dorito taco shell sounds nice, having access to alot of delicious Mexican restaurants nearby I can't really bring myself to eat at Taco Bell. Getting some delicious tacos for 1.5-2.5 bucks a pop is a goldmine.
