Kinda hoped they were going to stick with Gohan's voice from their History of Trunks special for the teenaged Gohan. "Fly UP!" Oh well; great work on this movie.
"You know, when you end the sentence with 'boy', it makes it seem like it's about both of those things."
You can't wipe out goten as nice as it would be. He was a major part in the buu saga. Would be near impossible to do that without him.
Gohan wasn't wiped, it was Goten. Gohan is already there and in play etc.
Thats what I meant, sorry. Same thing still applies
Well movies aren't cannon anyways(even thought they wrapped it up into actual story line), but that's besides the point!
I thought the first (Dead Zone; Garlic Jr.), 9th (Bojack) and 13th (Tapion) were considered canon?
At the very least, those are the ones that can actually fit feasibly into the timeline.
TFS makes most of the movies canon, I think. They keep mentioning Wheeler, Bojack, and so on. So, it makes sense, anyways
Nah don't even try hehe. They're just movies that take the manga plotline and mix it up a little; with 13th being DBZ's take on godzilla
If you visit specific sites you'll see people trying very, very hard to fit the movies into the timeline.
In the end it's all moot, and Akira admitted he's forgetful anyway, or something like that.
And Dragonball Super opens it up to multiple universes, so some dbz fanboy has probably attempted to justify which movie falls in which universe, etc
edit: thought we were talking about the main series, but in TFS's case, anything goes!
I love the whole reason that Launch wasn't in DBZ was just because Akira straight up forgot she exists
Easily one of the best abridged episodes ever put out from TFS lmao. Shit had me dying.
"Jet fuel can't melt steel beams." LOL caught me so off guard lmao.
Dragonball Z opens it up to multiple universes...
Launch was still present after Radditz was dead. She was rummaging through Bora's teepee for a way to climb Korin's Tower while Tien and Chiaotzu were already climbing to train with Kami and the others. Upa had grown up and was freakin RIPPED.
I'm not imagining this stuff, right?
Yeah, I have zero memory of her being in the anime at all. And I swear I read an interview where Akira said that he just forgot about her

Scene that starts @2:49 is what I remember.
Edit:

Korin Tower scene was @1:42 of the next episode, my mistake.
