I just bought a pair of the Turtle Beach Z6As off some pretty high recommendations, but as soon as I got it all set up, I noticed that I can hear myself talk and breathe, and none of the normal fixes for this work. I even have the mic and outputs running off of two different sound cards to no avail. Apparently a few other people have had this issue too, and have said they could not find a way to fix it, so if anyone has any ideas here I'm all ears. Thanks in advance.

edit: this happens even if the mic is not plugged in, so it's definitely internal. I'm totally OK with opening these things up and desoldering whatever makes it do this, if anyone has an intimate knowledge of headsets.
