2012 BG March Madness Discussion (and Bracket Challenge)

I think I have 3 BE teams in the elite 8...Marquette, Louisville, and Syracuse. I have Syracuse losing to Ohio State. Im just not sold on Vanderbilt ive seen about 5 of their games this year, not that impressed. The other two, Louisville and Marquette, would play each other, so one of them goes to the final four. I honestly think that if Memphis gets past St Louis (which is by no means a gimme, st Louis is legit), Memphis will beat Michigan State. New Mexico probably scares me more than Michigan State.

Syracuse doesn't do well rebounding with Fab Melo, now they're going to be without him. I had to have Vandy over them. I wanna do Harvard over Vandy but can't pull the trigger.

I have Murray State over Marquette, but fuck it, might just put Iona over Marquette.

May or may not ride or die Cincy

Man, Iona couldn't do SHIT against the zone.

They were so aggressive in the first, couldn't do anything in the second.

I LOVE Crowder but Marquette is just so inconsistent, I don't trust them. I think the Kentucky win is going to propel Vandy into a deep tourney run.

I don't think Marquette will have any particular issues getting to Mizzou. Mizzou isNt a great match for Marquette though, I'll admit. Marquette is one of the more up tempo teams in the big east and they sure as hell aren't going to beat Mizzou in an offensive showcase. Mizzou has a very very mediocre defense though, theyll push the pace. Marquette really only struggles against teams that slow it down.

I think Cinci loses early, Too terrible from the line to win close games late.

UNC is plagued with injuries, I can see them hitting the Elite Eight, maybe the Final Four, but I can't see them going all the way, not in the shape they're in.

For once, I can actually fill out a homer bracket and not feel bad about it. I have KY, Mizzou, Florida St (just because I can't pick all 1s and 2s), and Kansas, with Mizzou over Kansas in the national championship.
