I don't know, I think ranger looks like it could be fun. I'll definitely try one of those. No bows though. Greatsword, swords, axes, warhorn, dagger... so many options for a ranger other than bows. [e] Oh and Marskmanship increases Power in general; just don't pick the bow-only options, there's some great traits for first-strike abuse.

I've never liked any ranger type class in any MMO I've played. I usually like the mage professions for their burst and the typical warrior classes for their versatility with weapons and armor.

You can't prepurchase from Amazon if you're in the US, afaik. Something about how Amazon won't bill you until the product is shipped, and prepurchasing is putting all the money down immediately. All you can do through them is pre-order. If you want to prepurchase, you have to go through buy.guildwars2.com or go to a brick and mortar store. Again, this is US only.

Ok let me ask this then: Am I gonna have to download a new client? Cause somebody said you were supposed to with the stress test and I didn't have to then, I just ran the exe and it downloaded some more files. If I /AM/ going to need to download a new client, I need to start that shit at least 2 days before the beta starts because of my absolutely fucktarded internet.

I'm only worried because with the FIRST time I went through with this, I got the email with the download link literally 20 minutes before the beta started.

The closed beta executable, upon launching it, is downloading the BWE client it seems. Wipes the old, starts the new. The launcher specifically mentions the BWE, non-use of the NDA, has a link to the official beta forums, progress bar etc... so more than likely it's legit.
