All you have to do is go to forum.guildwars2.com and log in, then click news and announcements, and then the getting started thread. Should be able to follow a link there. They said that they sent a large amount of email (assuming everyone who prepurchased), so it's probably just being slow.

They said from the start that players would be able to move freely between worlds. The main surprise to me was that the cost of changing home worlds seems rather steep, but I agree that it's necessary to have something to prevent people from world-hopping willy-nilly for WvW buffs.

Also, it's a shame it's account-wide. It would be nice to be able to make alts for WvWing on other teams if you have friends on multiple worlds.

I'm trying to download the client on a relatively unstable connection, it has a tendency to drop every hour or so. This shouldn't really be an issue, but last time it dropped the downloader seemed to reset to 18x,xxx files and start over. Has anyone else had an issue like this at all?

Edit: Nevermind, think it was to do with not creating a new folder for GW2 beforehand so the gw2.dat got saved in some random other file, definitely make sure you do that

We have about 25 that have actually pre-purchased and shared their display name at the moment. We're not really advertising our presence in places like Guru or other large GW2-centric communities for obvious reasons at the moment. Just a nice hearty group of buddies.
