So, the people that died before Jesus came about: To my understanding, if one was to be open to accepting Jesus based on their great faith and obedience to God, they were admitted to Heaven as if they had actually known about Jesus and his work. Jesus has always been around, he just came to Earth as a human about 2012 years ago.
Jesus is God, so he did not need redeeming, so therefore he did not need to "accept himself" to get to Heaven, as he has always been there.
Blasphemy is slandering or saying things contrary to a given belief, Jesus didn't do any of these things, so no, not a blasphemer.
As for people that don't know about "religion", I don't think there is any group of people who do not know "religion". Everyone has some sort of religion. Whether or not they have the Gospel is another story. The vast majority of people in the world HAVE heard at least some of it, and a vast majority of the people in the world have at least some inkling as to who Jesus is. A vast majority get the rest of his identity wrong, but that's another discussion. I believe that the case for people who have truly not heard the Gospel is the same case for Old Testament people. If they would have been open to the Gospel, Jesus's sacrifice covers them as well. God has, in many cases, very blatantly revealed himself in the world. It is through these means that a person who has not heard the Gospel can come into a relationship and know God.
You probably have heard it before, if not, you absolutely have plenty of opportunities to do so. What's stopping you from believing?
