Amazon's already out of PC Imperial Editions. Glad I preordered it immediately, I guess it's in higher demand than I'd have thought. If anyone's got their eye on it, I'd find somewhere that's still taking preorders and nail it down right away.

Curse is giving away 500,000 beta keys.

Beta Period: From Friday, February 7th at 12:00PM EST until Monday, February 10th at 11:59PM EST

Premium members were able to get beta keys since the 4th, but now anyone with a Curse account can get a beta key. Anyone that was in the middle of the road or had the slightest curiosity about TESO should sign up now. One weekend may not be enough, but at least it should give you an idea if this game is for you or not.

File size is around 22 GB (not sure if there are any further patches/updates after this installs).

Just a reminder, and not to shit on the game for once, they're giving out -500k- beta keys on top of the people already in the beta. These servers are going to shit the bed hard in all likelihood, so I wouldn't expect a wealth of playtime.

Does that mean that Zenimax can keep the NDA intact till launch day? Maybe cause of the Mature™ rating? I dunno, Zenimax seems awfully shy to me!

??? I don't think 500k new testers are going to do shit to the servers, assuming 1/2 of those are persistent login. Because you know, previous beta testers know the game is shit and probably won't ever get on again...

Yeah, no participating in this beta either. After the first one, just rubbed me the wrong way. I would like to see it succeed... I really do, but it's not a game for me. I'm waiting patiently for WildStar.

honestly, I expect the game to be mediocre. elder scrolls game without mods is probably going to be a bad time. however, im riding on the fact that I get my money's worth out of it at least, even if only for the free 30 days (and I expect to, even if it's just going out and exploring most of the continent for the first time since Daggerfall), along with the statue + artbook. tbh i'd have paid at least $50 just for the book <_< but I'm a lunatic for high quality lore and art products.
