Me and my gf are enjoying the game so far. Only negative things we've experienced is an anchor (rift event I guess) got bugged with no mobs.... went back to questing disappointed. My game crashes fairly often and she gets a few here and there, was only annoying in the middle of a story quest (basically like a cutscene I guess) which made us both redo the whole thing. Aside from that it's been pretty smooth. Granted we're only like level 8.
Why am I not surprised?
Now I would be surprised if the entire game(and yes it's possible) was created with the Creation Engine, the buggiest engine in developmental history.
20% off digital copies, pre-order bonuses are of the table though.

I'll think about trying it out when it goes F2P.
Biggest con for me so far is the fov, I keep getting massive headaches when playing now. Anyone have a safe fov mod/addon?
no FoV mods that I'm aware of, but there's an FoV slider being added soon
Ugh any idea how soon it would actually be? I want to play but after 30 mins I gotta stop.
nupe, no idea. they announced it before launch so can't imagine it will be too long.
3rd Party Auction House (it's a fucking forum) announcedhttp://www.vg247.com/2014/04/12/elde...auction-forum/The Elder Scrolls Online doesn’t contain an in-game auction house. Instead, players can buy and sell items through guild stores. However, ZeniMax Online has come up with a way for players to participate through in-game trading.
According to a post on the ESO forums, players will be able to trade, buy and sell goods and services through an online marketplace instead. This will not only, according to the developer, keep the game’s economy healthy, but will encourage socialization.
“You don’t necessarily want to do a global auction house for a game with one giant server because that generally leads to all the best gear being available at very, very cheap prices,” according to gameplay designer Nick Konkle. “A lot of times that can trivialize the game.
“You cannot have a healthy economy when there are no restrictions on getting the best stuff in the game.”
So, if you want to sell your wares or buy something crafted by a player or any other sell-able item in the MMO, you will either have to visit the marketplace linked below or join a guild.

plenty of reasons why an actual public auction house in the game would be a horrible idea, so I like this solution.
Single server/PS3 limitations lol
Only 7 items allowed to be listed at once.
Picked it up Sunday for no real reason and currently have a lv7 or 8 Nord Templar Daggerfall Cov right now. Rocking w/ 2h and Resto skills for the time being.
Doesn't seem all "bad" right now but it has some issues I've ran into, hilariously tbh.
Are there any good blacksmithing guides?
So is all the talk about duping/botting/etc going rampant and tons of innocents being banned a real thing or just worked up nerdgasming of /vg/? People saying they have been banned w/o any notice other then trying to log in and seeing "Incorrect Password".
Probably, Zenimax has been absolutely, horrifically, monumentally bad at management so far. This sort of blanket banning has happened in the past with other games, of course, but it doesn't excuse this level of incompetency. Don't think I'll be resubbing after my 30 days are over.
I was auto kicked off the server once for "spamming" when I was in the middle of dialogue lol.
Haha wow, so amazed at this game. No AH? FFXIV 1.0????
