Per Zimmerman he was headed back to his car after getting off the phone when confronted by Martin, even if that's a lie, I think he probably wanted to keep an eye on him until police arrived. I really don't have much reason to believe otherwise. Why would he call in the first place? I know I always call police and have them on the way before starting some shit.

He also says he lost sight of him on the call, so how closely exactly was he following him?

Depends on what your view of racism is. Is it simply prejudice against another someone who doesn't look like you? Yeah, that's everyone, everywhere, for as long as people have ever had differences. Is it a system of oppression towards a different race? I'd say that depends on the region/nation itself.

Do blacks have prejudice against whites? Absolutely. Do blacks have a system in place designed to oppress whites? Probably not so much here in the states. Have blacks have a history of doing such against whites? Again, not so much.

Uh, what evidence? That he shot someone and told a story? Standard procedure would be to at least hold him overnight for questioning and witness-gathering, not taking some guy's word for it. They saw a black kid in a hoodie lying on the ground and a grown man with bruises and a broken nose. That didn't tell them shit, and if told you anything other than "we need to investigate this" you're a fucking tool.

There was enough evidence, or lack of enough to the contrary, that he wasn't charged. And then he was charged and found not guilty. So the initial decision to not charge him was correct.

to clarify, i don't think he meant to go up and start any sort of physical confrontation - i thought you just meant confront as in go up to the guy and see what he was doing.

it's hard to know who to believe on this specific detail because:

1. you're right, he would not call the cops then run up to the guy after the fact most likely

on the other hand

2. trayvon would not really be running away then decide to turn back around and beat the guy up most likely

so i really dont know, one of them clearly had a change of mind
