Anyone else here had a broken nose? I did once and know it bled like crazy, like everybody else I've met.

*ALL* head wounds bleed like crazy. If he had a broken nose or blunt force trauma to his head, he'd have had blood on his clothes. He looked pretty spiffy & clean to me in that video though.

Trayvon Martin's body didn't show any signs have having been in a fight, a Miami funeral director said.

A Miami funeral director says Trayvon Martin’s body showed no signs of a violent brawl.

Richard Kurtz said his examination of the slain Florida teen’s corpse revealed no cuts, scratches or bruises, only a gunshot wound to the chest.

Kurtz’s account appears to contradict George Zimmerman’s claims that he shot Trayvon during a life-and-death struggle.

“We could see no physical signs like there had been a scuffle [or] there had been a fight,” Kurtz told CBS News.

“The hands — I didn’t see any knuckles, bruises or what have you, and that is something we would have covered up if it would have been there.”

Trayvon “looked perfectly normal to me when he came in and the story just does not make sense that he was in this type of scuffle or fight in anything that we could see,” Kurtz added.

Kurtz’s account marked the latest twist in a case that has sparked outrage across the U.S. over the murder of an unarmed black teen.

Zimmerman killed Trayvon, 17, in a gated community in Sanford last month after calling 911 to report a suspicious person.

Zimmerman, 28, claimed self-defense and was not arrested.

Zimmerman’s father has said his son, an insurance agent who spent nights patrolling his neighborhood, suffered a broken nose and bloody gashes on his head during his fight with Trayvon.

He downplayed a video shot in the police station that shows Zimmerman apparently free of any bruises, blood or bandages.

On Friday, the Daily News obtained EMS documents suggesting Zimmerman, who an ex-colleague said was fired from a security job for being too aggressive, did not sustain serious injuries in the fatal encounter.

Paperwork detailing the EMS response to the shooting scene shows that a call for a second ambulance was canceled.

An audiotape containing the EMS communications, also obtained by The News on Friday, records unidentified workers discussing the scene.

Zimmerman’s condition is mentioned briefly in the 30-minute recording.

“Do we have a second patient?” a man asks.

“That’s affirmative. We have a second patient,” a woman replies. “The second patient is not a gunshot.”

-EMS says 2 ambulances were originally sent to the scene, one for a gunshot wound & one for Zimmerman, but the 2nd ambulance was called off.

-Funeral director says "the story just does not make sense that Trayvon was in this type of scuffle or fight in anything that we could see.”

In conclusion the fact that you didn't mention anything about the Funeral Director who is yet another person that has casted doubt on zimmermans story just shows you probably just skimmed the article instead of actually reading it.

Get haughty all you want, but Leroy was right. Nothing new in that article except what we already knew from the Police station surveillance tape: he didn't appear to be visibly injured at all. So they called off a second ambulance? That's your breaking news? That doesn't really prove anything - but a photo or video recording would... and oh wow, it just so happens that we already saw what Zimmerman looked like after he was taken to the police station. We already knew this shit. We also already knew Trayvon's body was free of any injuries other than the gunshot wound. So where is your new information, again?

His brother was on CNN on Thursday saying that his wounds didn't appear til days later and his token black friend came out to say they were locked in a life or death struggle but yeah my fault I took for granted that people were actually keeping up with the case. I'm currently looking for it. Admittedly I don't remember if it was ME or LE leak, etc -- and that's my fault for writing that when I wasn't certain in my recollection. The specific quote I'm remembering reading said that there were no such injuries observed other than the gunshot wound itself. I'm still currently looking through my browser history to find it, so I'll post it if/when I do.
