She lied about the fucking wake months ago because she didn't want this national exposure (I wonder why...), she didn't go out seeking attention and make up conversations.

He's admitting he killed the person.

His claim is that it was ok because the person was threatening his life.

At this point, the onus is on him to prove said person was threatening his life; the alternative would be saying kill whoever the fuck you want and claim it was self defense, and the dead person is considered guilty until we prove them innocent.
