Forgot about this. I should have mentioned when he graduated it was like seven years ago, so ya I'm sure there are some now you are right, but not really then (or at least not anywhere within a reasonable distance). Also, there is really no point in him going back when he already has a job in the field especially considering it doesn't seem like having a masters means anything at all in the industry he's in.

Anyway, masters doesn't mean shit. I have seen some truly terribly ignorant people with masters degrees. I know some truly excellent reasoners and well-educated people with no degrees.

I agree, but not just limited to masters, I think that can be said of any degree even PHDs in some situations.

Only reason I brought it up is the study wanted to suggest there was some correlation between different degree levels and divorces which is probably just way more coincidental than anything else. I mean, when you think about it, the rate of women in colleges are increasing to become even/more than men, yet divorce rates are rising.

I think the correlation has more to do with the fact women are becoming less tied to their husbands financially (they can make their own way), so don't need to put up with stupid shit like they used to.

Some guy I play DotA 2 with, he's Lebanese. He randomly messaged me saying "When you hear the word Moss what do you think of?" and I naturally told him forests and green and crap

Anyway he asks me what the fuck I'm talking about and tells me its not an English word, I correct him and show him what Moss is and he goes "Oh wow, in my language it's a worse version of suck it. It's very vulgar"
