Monk seems a bit of a clusterfuck atm but that's probably primarily attributed to picking it up at 85 and trying to figure out what shit does heh.

My dk is 80 and I haven't really touched it in forever. I can't relate to what watered down meansn when it comes to dk, all I remember is "something lit up? Press it."

Is it less fun? If so I'll hold off on playing it. Friend of mine is loving the changes to Ret, but with 5 holy power I'm not sure I am going to want to go from rogue to ret pally.

Playing DK is fun in the sense that doing paperwork in an office is fun. Except at random times you can slam your stapler down and do 4 papers at once.

But don't try to pvp.

What classes are you guys having the most fun with on the beta? I'm actually enjoying spriest a bit more than I thought I would. Haven't given much else a try.

Well, here's the basic differences from cata to now, I can't describe differences from 80 cuz I leveled mine literally a week or 2 before cata.

All our glyphs are gone pretty much, like, to the point where I picked 2 majors I was pretty sure about and there just plain isn't a 3rd worth using.

Talents...

Tier 1: What flavor of pestilence do you want? If you're UH, it's the middle one. If not, pick one of the other 2.
Tier 2: Are you pvping or pveing? If you take the 3rd choice you're retarded.
Tier 3: Are you going to be pvping or pveing? If you take the 3rd choice you're retarded.
Tier 4: Are you unholy, frost, or blood?
Tier 5: Are you retarded?
Tier 6: aoe grip, aoe stun, or a circle you can stand in to be immune to cc for 10 seconds every 2 minutes

the other day we got back lichborne heal (it was gone) and 100% death's advance, as well as a huge buff to amz and a move that basically gives us back a nerfed blood tap in a non-talent form since nobody's ever going to take the talent version

Somewhere in the random panda thread I listed all the shit we lost, we gained... an execute (at the expense of our increased dmg at low hp talents of course).

Oh, and outbreak no longer has a cd but costs 40 rp. That'll be giving us a 3rd glyph to use, woohoo...

I don't even think it's worth using there. Maybe for frost if Masteryspec dips below Oblit spec, but UH can keep diseases up long enough to use Outbreak on the 1 min cd and you hardly use it in pvp as well since Oblit hits like an old woman with downs and UH has to burn some UH runs to keep DA up anyways.

Can someone tell me about the rules for changing Felguard weapons on MoP atm? I've heard it was a glyph that chooses a random 2h weapon from your inventory, want to be sure before I start pestering transmog groups for an awesome looking 2handed wep for my felguard <_<

Glyph picks a random 2hander, correct, Wrathguard requires two weapons to equip two, if you're taking Grimoire of Supremacy

Kind of sucks to hear, I enjoyed playing Masterfrost as it was a fun jump from the usual "spam xx till it comes off cooldown then do it again" playstyle of UH and Oblit frost.

I got my beta last weekend, finally able to make premades now that they gave up trying to process them through battle.net. I made a monk, but I only get about 5 mins before crit errors kick me every time I try it.

I'm really not liking how they abandoned the talent tree or how PVP is basically a spec now.

Also, did they make a new engine for MoP? I have graphics setting the same as live but they are definitely higher-res.

Also for the high res stuff, is it because you're in the MoP zones? New expansion zones always look better then previous zones because they are updated with better models and textures.

Nah, all zones look different, my PC fans turn up like they do on fps games due to higher res/processing. Lol @ be alone in the mmo for it to work XD.


But, seriously, pvp is a spec now, ffs they must be scared of gw2 or something... I'm a ffxi baby so I've always hated pvp and I hate this change...

I mean it's been that way for mages forever, and occasionally other classes, but honestly that's one of the positives to this new thing imo is that it lets you pick and choose from the pvp tools without having to be that given spec.

Edit: ownedcore apparently has a solution for the majority of the crashes.
