personally I'm not too worried about a bunch of people rollin around on s1-3 drakes, plus dk on them will confuse the fuck out of some people for a second! lol

I love the idea of account-wide anything. Achievements, mounts, and pets, all of those are fap-worthy to me. I will most likely never change my main but when I get random shit on my alts that I wanted on my main it would be great to pass that shit over to the right toon.

Now I only miss account-wide faction reputation.
There is simply no amusement tied with grinding the same exact quests over and over on each of your toons. Levelling to 85 is fine, makes you learn your class, sort of.

Or at least, make some faction buyable token, Bound to account, that costs 100g and gives you 250 rep for that faction.

Hopefully they leave feat of strength ones out of it =p ... I like my alar where it is. haha

The carpet has a profession level requirement, I don't think the chopper does (unless there are two versions).

Account wide mounts just means I can farm Kara mount 5 times a week instead of WoW, awwww yeah.

We hope that rewards granted from achievements (pets, mounts, titles, and tabards) will be shared at the account level.

I'm not going to promise this yet, because a lot of magic has to happen for that to work, but it's our intent. We have discussed having a character level requirement for some rewards, so that your level-2 gnome couldn’t walk around with the “Defender of a Shattered World” title just because your level-90 shaman earned it. If the gnome made it to level 80, though, you could proudly show off your title. You also won’t be able to use a faction-specific pet, mount, or title on the wrong faction. The achievement wouldn’t go away -- you just wouldn’t be able to show it off on that character. There are probably additional exceptions and details we’ll find as we dig deeper into the system.

This is the kind of system that will evolve over time, and we don’t think this has to be the way achievements work forever. As beta players start experimenting with it and offering feedback, I am certain that we will end up making even more changes.

The whole mount thing and titles will be a clincher for me. I don't want to have to do ANY achievements over again on a character if I make an alt as it basically blocks me from making any alt my new "main" because I dont want to waste time doing all the shit I have already done on my DK (which is a lot).

I'd get testy if titles like Scarab Lord, Salty or the Immortal could get popped from toon to toon. I mean, I'd get over it, but I kind of like it when some things are just rare.

I'm still pissed enough that gladiator goes away on the toon you earn it on, not even concerned about cross toon titles really lol.


Honestly Scarab Lord would be one I'd think would be good to share, sure some places it got zerged but an awful lot of servers having that title meant you were really damn well respected at a time when the organizational and social skill aspects of raiding were probably at their most "difficult."

You can be damn sure I'm using my Immortal title on the majority of my toons since they're voiding any prestige with Herald of the Titans and people just buy fucking Warlord/HWL.

Mounts are going to be account wide too right? I got the drake off Deathwing last night on my alt by pure luck via Raid Roll.

It's very ugly.

But it's another mount.

This makes 2 mounts on my alt which could add to my "main"

But as it stands, maining another class seems very fun and feasible with these account wide things. I'm more inclined to spend a bit more time on Paladin, for example.
