I made an 85 myself but there are so many abilities that I'm not sure the style of play to use. I'll probably spend a little more time figuring out the heals and how they'll be in a group. I agree that the pandas look awesome. The one thing that no other game can match is the way the character models flow when casting, running, jumping etc. Blizzard is so far above the rest of the MMO community in that aspect that it's absurd.

That's really my biggest fear about making one of the template monks, being thrown to 85 with all of the abilities is a bit daunting. I know leveling isn't the best way to learn the class, since things often play very differently at level cap, but at least it lets you get the feel for the abilities.

Hope you guys can keep me updated on what classes suck/rock in the upcoming months, I can reroll whatever the fuck I want. I certainly do not want to hit 90 with a class that I didn't know was the MoP "dunce" class.

Mists of Pandaria is going to make it easier for you to earn Valor points on your alts once your main character is capped for the week. The Valor of the Ancients buff increases the Valor earned on all of your characters on a realm by 50%, after one character has capped for the week. This comes along with another change to Valor points that limits the amount you may hold at any time to 3,000 per character.

The buff is kind of nice for messing around with alts, I hated farming VP on all of them even though it wasn't really THAT hard. The maximum cap sucks, gonna have to actually spend the points now instead of just letting them ramp up w/ nothing to buy like i've done in every content patch after getting my tier+relic.

Reviewing the DK changes/adjustments, and reading a post from Riggnaros of Blood Legion I gotta say DKs do seem a little shafted this time.

Lets see what I carry over on an account level (pets/achievements/titles/mounts) and if it satisfies me enough I might go Paladin instead.

I think you carry over pretty much everything honestly, except for class mounts and uncompleted achievements (aka 75,000/100,000 HK achievement) or something like that.

I got to heal an 85 dungeon today on my mistweaver and I did alright. I mostly relied on the crane kick thing that does aoe heals and it's pretty mana efficient. It's a little strange not having INT increase your mana pool but I'll live. I'll also say while never having leveled my lock past 40, at 85 with the new talents/abilities, they are pretty awesome. I don't understand the metamorphosis phase, however. It says it increases damage by 41% or something but your spell damage/power doesn't seem to reflect but your melee dps does. Maybe I'm just not reading it correctly or it might not be displaying correctly.

BM and SV will drop as item levels increase. They don't scale well, unless Blizzard suddenly learned how to play Hunter while I was gone.

Speaking of "so much time" before it comes out. The game, in its current state, is quite buggy. You can't even drag and drop rings into ring slot #2 without removing the ring first. Going into the the JC window or your various trade skills is also very buggy. I've ran into a lot of little bugs that are annoyances more than anything but even so, for it be coming out in 6-7 weeks, they've got a lot to make up imo.

beta is pretty much always at least one fully ready patch behind, at this point it's probably 2 back with all the tiny fixes going in now

Only vids I have seen are the frost mage glad vid where he's soloing his way in 2s because his feral partner dies in the first 10 seconds each time. They seem pretty goddamn powerful in pvp, but then again it's a vid from a glad fighting who knows who.

That's fucking retarded, hell even the not allowing us to have guild mounts across characters is stupid. I understand class only mounts, but everything else should be across account, the fucking limitations Blizzard comes up with man....I mean yeah the guild mount is just a gold sink type deal but still...
