I've seen videos of SCH RDM DRG BLU. I've heard testimony of BST. WAR or RNG... probably not.

I'd be interested in seeing the drg solo. I would have thought he would kill your wyvern with AoEs. Then again he is a big mob, maybe it's possible to position yourself at max distance the other side of your wyvern keeping it out of AoE...?

What about a Dex magian? I'm definitely not capped acc on a bunch of newer voiwatch fights (tho it's only a mule), and Dex adds something to Shun at least.

So last I heard (back at 90 cap!) Ochain was making a bunch of Aegis PLDs butthurt, then they removed the MDT cap for Aegis. So which shield do PLDs usually wear now? I know Ochain is more physical-based and Aegis more magic-based, but I figure there's plenty of monsters doing both types of damage so I'm guessing Aegis is generally used more often?

Typically PLD isn't doing much more then holding mobs in todays game and most PLDs use Ochain for that. Ideally you would want both but thats a lot of effort/gil/time for a job that doesn't see a lot of use.

Since the merit update, people think it's worth dropping fold merits to 1/5? Don't see any use on anymore than 1. Could be better spent going into 3 winning streak (5/5 snake eye and 1/5 loaded deck seem like no brainers)

Does Ochain even matter much for that anymore? Between Sentinel and reprisal and Palisade (or w/e the new blocking ability is), nothing can really do much to you aside from unblockable TP moves and spells.

Usually its more about blocking very bad add effects of blockable tp moves.

DEX isn't going to get you posted the in gimp thread certainly, and is a decent idea since it'll help when using a dagger/whatever for non-katana procs as well.

MNK+WHM can duo shinryu no problem, as long as your whm doesn't suck.

It may be possible to position yourself that way, but this guy doesn't. His wyvern gets wiped from 40% or so by something and he spends the last three minutes using temps. I think it would have been more impressive to use a -DT set and keep his wyvern out, although he does win.
