There are no requirements left anymore for entering NQ odin post-patch right? I just wanna make sure since I'm joining a pickup for a shot at a king abj.

I think the person entering only needs one of the three KIs from each tier chamber. Not sure about everyone else though.

PUP/THF with TH Sash and a WHM pet could give it competition, I think. PUP can proc using attachments (which count as WSs for some reason), so they get their own groups of monsters to fight and almost never have competition. Plus TH3 and a built in healer... they have it pretty good.

This intrigues me quite a bit since I have been meaning to gear BST so I can solo dyna, but the idea of non-stop competition has turned me off from actually doing it. Has anyone used the PUP/THF method personally?

Hello friends. Planning to make a come-back after a 2 year hiatus. What's the best FFXI resource to get up-to-date on everything? Did ffxiclopedia.org really fall off? Seems like nothing is updated. Is BGWiki the place to look up all my needs?

Also, I left with a Hiradennotachi +2 and I hear with the new GKT WS that Fudo is no longer that great. What's a good alternate, easily-attainable GKT to nab as I first start playing again? (Not planning long-term Masamune building or the likes)

On my MNK's perspective, I have Revenant Fists +2. Is this still good and worth trying to upgrade to +3? That's all, thanks!

I'd say BGwiki is the best place to get info about newer stuff such as abyssea, dynamis, voidwatch, legion etc.

If you don't want to make a Masamune (which is extremely easy these days), do the tp bonus magian GK.

I'm no mnk and I don't really have an opinion on how good the WoE h2h is, but I think it's gonna cost you an arm and a leg to upgrade them. To take them to level 95 you need 100 Devious Die and from there to 99 you need 100 Liminal Residue. WoE is somewhat a dead area on most servers, and at least on Asura both Devious Die and Liminal Residue sell for 100k for one - usually more. So I guess you can do the maths yourself and decide if it's really worth it - provided you can even find 100 of each for sale.

Most efficient way to farm Dyna coins solo?

My thf seems to get 140-200 coins a run lately but there seems to be actual parties of bst in zone now for the purpose of monopolizing most of the mobs at once which can fuck things up if i run in at the wrong time. lack of ways to gank the 6+ yellow mobs of them properly means my bst ends up with an advantage during those times since they're ok with me fighting 7+ mobs at once as if thinking I now own them all wasn't retarded.
My bst would probably do better if my axe skill and pet get wasn't gimp. It does 150~160 the last time i checked on how it does while at least being more consistent on coin value. If you for some ungodly reason had a 2-4 weapon I've seen people spamming wsmobs using those.

What churchil said. Also, Justiciar's Torque over Hyoui's. Other ear either Ghillie+1/Auster's Pearl. I thought 2nd Stormsoul > Epona's, but not sure.

Is what I use. TH set is just hands/feet. Engaging swaps to TH gear, hit triiger macro for normal TP gear after landing on hit.

Can solo many or all depending on job, duo/trio with relative ease or shout and make a group for +1.

For +2, you can just help people making Empyrean's that drop the +2's, no one is going to turn down an extra KI holder and you could probably even weasel your way into getting your own made as well.

I farmed pretty much all of my papers dual boxing thf/nin (nin procs + TH) and blm/whm. You can also build the +2 sets with the same job combo, but may need another body or 2 for some of the kills if you want enough healing and near 100% yellow proc.

Now, I'm no THF by any stretch of the imagination, but I was under the impression that ele belt/gorget is best for most merit WS, primarily multi hit, because of the fTP replication.

Not all merit WSs follow that rule. Only Resolution, Stardiver, Requiescat, Ruinator, Entropy, Blade: Shun, Realmrazer and Last Stand.

I always prefered Primal Rend over Rampage, but is it still a good WS? I'm likely going to be doing much more solo play than group based play. I was getting resisted a fuck ton on Buffalo in Uleguarand Range yesterday at level 85-90 with good CHR. I only hit like 4-5 700+ Primal Rends in like 4 hours of exp.
