Only the subless job can white stagger, and the odds are low. If you're pretty normal, you kill <100 monsters per Dynamis run, all of them aren't procced, and the DNC doesn't proc all of the ones that are procced. Plus, the 1% number is just a guess.

Yeah, I try to get my procs in first before everyone else. I get the stagger in about 6-7 times out of 10, since I figured I had to be the one to get the white proc.

Just kind of annoying to go on several runs and not see a white stagger on anything.

I did probably 10 runs or so before I got anything, but then I got white something like 5 runs in a row. I was proccing/killing ~75 monsters per run (maybe more, idr really), and I didn't want to put that it was below a 1% proc rate, sooooo.... etc. Lets just say it was eXtremely rare.

I've done probably 15+ runs now as either dnc/---, dnc/---, thf/dnc or bst/dnc, dnc/--- and not once seen a white stagger. The subless DNC gets stagger on most of the procs, like you I would guess ~75% of them at least. It's super rare, and from what I can tell, totally not worth the loss of a subjob and faster kills.

Barring the lecture of how Bhaflau is shit tier, had anyone figured out the ramparts if its more then luck shit? I've entered Bhaf 14 times since I started logging, and I've seen Gate Widow all of 0 times, one Skirmish Pephredo. Yet 11 Zebra Zarchery's, and 7 Peryton's.

100000s of runs, shit is luck. Its also extremely rare to only see 1 NM on an active Rampart, its almost always 2-7 NMs.

Yeah, this is what I do, outside of saving up for a weaponskill. Once a mob is proced I move onto the next mob to try and proc it.

Being NIN-obsessed as I am, I've been eyeing Suijin Kabuto for a while to add to my MDT set. I figure it's better than MDK hat augment given that I can reach 50% with shell V easily. Bit confused about Revitalization Team though...It says you can get drops even if you don't kill the monster, is that including the unique drops, or do you have to actually kill them to get those?

iirc, it's offhand only, so that'd be left hand.

Left hand is Main for Elvaan, so ya can't really go by left or right hand for ODD proc. Just use offhand if you were curious to which hand it was for Wiki purposes Byrth.


Edit: Additionally if you ever watch animations for hand-to-hand, attacks go main hand>offhand>all DA/TA/QA OAT, etc are then main hand animations> KA. The only offhand animation is the 2nd attack in a round. I wager that all extra attacks are not just animated as main hand, but are actually considered mainhand. This could explain why attacks that should technically be offhand DAs and such don't get the ODD like all the other empyrians. It might also be specifically why they made ODD offhand and not main.

can bst solo? thf + rdm? bst x2-3? wondering how much of pain he is with multiple benes and all. pecking away with thf + rdm seems like i'd never get anywhere if he's popping bene every 2 min like otherwiki suggests he will. not really anything on BG other than how to pop him.

Haven't fought him but I have solo'd all the others on bst. Each one has it's own crazyness but usually I can kill somewhere between the 3rd and 4th 2hr. So assuming it 2hrs and cycles thru them as fast as the others and is about as durable you'd have to play really agressive to to kill it before it gets back to bene but I think it should be doable.

Any reason for me to keep it? As it seems to be a just better or worse then a tricorne +2 for WF. Possibly best piece for QD? I don't have Thaumas hat yet.

It should be decently better for wf (in my set on rng it generally beats out oce+1 and that's 3 more agi then tricorne) and your best QD peice till you get thaumas

Killed him with minimal issue THF+RDM, just be sure to stun his AMs, those hurt like a bitch.

Whats going down with the banning of cleave parties? I was planning setting up some days for some CW burn for $$$ to fund gfs relic but dont wanna get banned. Mob i would do doesn't drop any pop items and is-ant killed very often so hoping that I couldn't get hit with monopolization but idk. Any legit players have any run in's with bans for it? or is it basically only those who do it 24/7

I'm pretty sure it's more of the 24/7 where there is an entire pt controlled by bot which then turns the cruor into gil. If it's just you + healer + some randoms for half of a day or something I doubt it will raise any red flags.
