1) It's true that taru taru sash with th+1 raise treasure hunter of bounty shot too? (like 4 with af3 gloves too?).

I can't say for certain with using them but /thf th doesn't help at all so I'd guess no

If you're up for adventures! You can do nin/thf + whm/dnc too if that's an option... but nin/dnc can probably pl thf from 1-49 inside 4-5 hours on lvllow mobs thf solo > 6-7, gov > 49.

For damage, the best WS set for Stardiver is:

Lance/X(Depends on your sTP needs; probably Rose though)/Blank/Thew Bomblet
Mekira-Oto+1/WS Gorget/Brutal/Moonshade with TP Bonus
Phocys Body/Lancer+2/Pyrosoul/Rajas(Again, depends on sTP needs)
Atheling/WS Belt/Lancer+2 Legs/Hecatomb+1 (With STR/Polearm/ATT augments)

TP set up will depends on your lance (Charis/Gungnir/Herja being the big three), 5/6 hit needs (Haven't had time to compare them), and how many WS hits you want to rely upon (I usually like to do 2/4 hits, but some prefer to use 3/4 hits).

For either Magian OAT or neo-odin V.Fork:
Lance, Rose Strap, Hagneia Stone
Phorcy, Ganesha's Mala, Ghillie+1, Brutal
AF3+2, AF3+2, Tyrant, Rajas
Rancorous, Bullwhip/Phos/+1, Phorcys, AF3+2

It lets you WS in anything (So yugl's set, with 2nd pyrosoul over Rajas).

Gungnir would need 5 more STP in TP set for that same true 5hit (can WS in anything). You could swap out bullwhip/phos and af3 hands for goading/haste hands I guess. Or swap AF3 hands/tyrants for ogier's hands and blitz ring (mars ring if phos+1)
Alternatively you could swap in Hyoui's Gorget over Mala. You could WS in anything but have to land at least 3hits, or WS in Rajas/Brutal to land 2hits+. For any 1hit-proc WS you could just throw in ogier's hands.

If I set up a dual monitor thing with my computer can I have FFXI running on one monitor and some other fullscreen game on the 2nd without FFXI crashing?

Yilb does still have some FU moves, we were duoing nin + rdm and while he was keeping me on my toes a bit as healer it was smooth until he did aoe curse>meteor. I had time to cursna, but not cure, and boom "1 shot."

Being NIN-obsessed as I am, I've been eyeing Suijin Kabuto for a while to add to my MDT set. I figure it's better than MDK hat augment given that I can reach 50% with shell V easily. Bit confused about Revitalization Team though...It says you can get drops even if you don't kill the monster, is that including the unique drops, or do you have to actually kill them to get those?

I've never seen the unique drop appear unless it was a full clear, but I only entered a dozen of them back when it was released. I'm not sure if you were planning on it, but they're not really soloable. I tried entering back at 90 and was a little surprised to find they scaled past 75. Hit me for 500 DMG on a melee attack.

That depends entirely on how hard you make it. I solo'd the bugard a few times as thf/nin back at 90 with just twilight knife to get my hp back. But that was without the 2 runes which raise it's lvl

Yeah, when I went in I had the strengthening runes in place since I was interested in the drops. I was expecting a strong Lv.75 monster, though, not a destroyer of worlds.

Where and what page are you doing in gov that is netting you that kind of exp/hr.

I normally go to gusgen at 12-13ish using mule to pull all the ghouls and just afk with PL up if there is 10~ people already there (usually is when I'm on).

Kind of related but I faced a glitched Yilbegan yesterday that wouldn't let me tail tank it. Eventually the doom got me. I've never run into that problem before.

I got that problem few times with Dragua actually. Not really sure why I wanted to tail tank it ( Abyssea - altepa was pretty new at that time ) but she was keep turning to face me. I tho it might have been terrain issue but I changed place like 10 times and it didnt help.

You have to download windower plugin called Wincontrol once you are in game and have loaded type in the console:
wincontrol move -1920 0

Not sure if this works for you, but I have set my right monitor as my main monitor which ffxi starts on by default which makes the left monitor -1920 in cords.

I know this has been asked a bunch, but I just want to be really clear before I go and waste people's time.

Old Odin and New Odin both only require the person trading the lamp to have the necessary feathers. Right? Noone else needs any feathers at all?
Also, Do people need Elite Einherjar title to enter New Odin? Or is that also just the person trading the lamp?



Next question! LS is attempting New Omega tonight, looks like we're only gonna have 12 people (most people missed the last run where we got the KI). I know we should probably have a dedicated saccer grabbing pods as they pop, but anything else I should know as far as strategy or party set ups?
