The weapons near brigandish seem to be on a 15 min timer, the other ornas/mystics are on a 5 min timer. Not sure about anything else in the area.

Torcleaver is lame compared to Resolution - you'll be better off with a OAT|STR|probably even WSD+10%, vs a Cala90

Came back after being gone. What is the best weapon for SAM? I have Masamune, is that still worthwhile? Should I be using Shoha instead of Fudo?

Also, can you advance your voidwatch abyssite without having any stones?

Have they changed the billing of FFXI from a year ago?

ie: If I re-up today, will I get charged today or will I get charged double during the next billing cycle (July 1) or have they finally started billing based on a month from the day you re-join?

They actually fixed it to where it'll last a month from the day you subscribe instead of till just end of calendar month. Finally.

Is it safe to say that the Auto-Reraise from the Atmacite of Provenance is roughly the equivalent of Raise 3? I did a Bismarck run last night & a few of them got sloppy to a point where I would die 6-7 times per fight, but I noticed that I only lost a little over 1k exp total. I set myself to merits so I wouldn't gain exp from the chests, btw.

Technically you pay more over time now, since beforehand they did take into consideration if you resubscribed in the middle of a month, so you're paying on a per-month basis (You'd pay more per day in a February), and now it's a hard 30 days.

Old system was still shit though.

Kinda forgot about this BCNM since I had never gotten anything from it. But I'm in a similar situation with tons of seals. Soloable by a SCH/RDM with pretty much just elemental staves? Most of my SCH gear is 75+ and I don't feel like changing/making an XML for it so it would be done with synced gear. I'm assuming Kaustra just wrecks him?

Fudo at 300, spam Shoha till aftermath wears off.

Are Dynamis-Qufim mobs stronger than the others? It seems that Valkurm are weakest, then bubu, and Qufim at the top. I say this because I recently got my bec and was dicking around on DRK doing a throwaway run to have some fun with the scythe. My DRK has 5 less DEF than my BST does, yet the mobs in Qufim were hitting me for 160+, crits for over 300. Nightmare Treants in Valkurm hit my BST for under 50, and most bubu mobs hit me for well under 100.
