Anyone use a Logitech G700 mouse? What's the best way to set it up for XI? Right now I just have it configured to fire off a few of my COR macros, but as any other job it doesn't work as well.

I'm coming back to the game, and am somewhat lost as to what to aim for in character advancement. Here is what I currently have:

Current owned Atmas: VV/GH and some randoms
Access to most if not all maws (I might be missing one or two I forget)
Rank 5(6?) Windy -- Whatever is required for Airship

Things I know need, or used to need at 90:
Ascetic's Fury (This still wanted on MNK?)
Verethragna / Victory Smite
Sky/Sea/ToAU/WotG/Abyssea missions for r/ex items.
Merits
LB's for 95 and 99

Beyond that stuff I'm clueless. Anything needed for new endgame? Any new gear to aim for? Any new storyline/missions to do? Anything else I'm missing?

I'll add my question on to the end of Nishida's. I'm looking at coming back around the time the expansion launches, maybe a few months earlier to get caught up to all the 99 content.

That's what my WAR was at before I quit, how much has the gear changed since then, and about how long will it take to get up to speed?

You don't really need to avoid brainjack(and how would you anyway, flee kite?). You just make sure you have TP just before 75%/50%/25% and drop a viperbite on it. The poison has quite a long duration.

Just looking for some general opinions on weapon decisions. I've got every job 99, geared anywhere from relatively well to nearly perfect. 85 Vere, Ukon, Almace, Masa, and 90 Ochain. I have Just short of 400m, and I want to make a weapon investment to maximize a job(which will still leave me able to play other jobs reasonably well). It'd be pretty easy to get an Empyrean or relic to 99, obviously, while still leaving me with a comfortable ~150m or so for other things. Based on current content, and assuming future content goes in a similar direction(further and further from players being in perpetual godmode), any thoughts on what I should invest in?

Any input is appreciated~

They don't, most ppl (at least in Shiva) buff outside before entering, to save time.

Tougher content typically means higher damage TP moves, high evasion, and reduced viability critical hit builds.

Ryunohige: Untouched in damage, nice bonus to jump for when the wyvern is down, angon becomes relevant as content becomes difficult, and DRG

Bravura: The DT helps keep you on the NM for a greater amount of time and provides a great deal of accuracy in the event evasion becomes relevant.

BRD Stuff: Pretty much untouched and unless SE makes Abyssea-like procs, BRDs are almost certainly relevant (Whether that be for marches or minuets)

However, Anni + Rag seem to be the best option in your case since Anni provides the highest damage + Accuracy + Enmity options. Not much else necessary. Ragnarok doesn't face competition from a Empyrean WS, provides Accuracy, and there is no mythic GS.

Hard to say as saying sky/sea/toau/wotg for r/ex is kinda vague and technically covers most the game lol. Af3 and nyzle would cover pretty much the rest of the gear lol. Then more atmas like RR SS and roaring laughter for starters.

While I agree with Yugl, I still think that Apocalypse is a very worthwhile weapon for DRK. It's still quite easy to pump out some serious Entropies with a 167 damage weapon.

Can someone help me figure this out? This has actually been a reoccurring problem as of late.

Going through dynamis on EP mobs as DNC/SAM. My accuracy is capped on melee hits. However, I'm only 85-88% accurate on landing Feather Step, even while macroing in a Choreia Earring for steps.

Aren't steps based on melee attack accuracy? How is it possible to be at the melee cap but have such a disparity between landing steps?

Relic/Empy Jobs? Prolly wouldn't need Shoha Sam if had Ukko War/Ragna Drk for example.

None atm (These are all relatively fresh 99s and I've been skilling up/obtaining seals) and obtain status is questionable. I hear all the mobs for Ukon are soloable though, so maybe 85 Ukon. Rag is unlikely even though I would like one. Anni v Rag would be a tough choice if I did decide to do a relic though. I guess that's going to make the decision more difficult since I keep throwing out "MAYBE I WILL MAYBE I WON'T" but that's how it is atm.
