Do you need to fight VW monsters in order to get credit? Like, say I fight a Jeuno IV VW and kill it, but I am not even finished with Jeuno I, do I get credit when I get there?

And if so, do I need to have consumed a stone or do stoneless kills count?

You need to be able to spawn it to obtain credit, so you will need to repeat when you are caught up. I'm not sure about the stone issue, however, if you get 10k+ cruor it is beneficial to use a stone anyways, imo.

How do you download/upload all your macros? I just installed on a different PC and I REAAAAAAAAAAALLY don't feel like redoing all my macros.

CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+B to save

CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+R to retrieve

Do that on the "Select Character" screen.

Alternatively, just copy the USER folder in your Final Fantasy Directory.

What would be the ideal atmas for brewing Orthurs on Bst with 90 Farsha/Cloudsplitter.

Last night I did 4 using Lion/Blindng Horn/Ultimate and each took 3 WS to kill (bst/blm). Probably had enough time to do 1 or 2 but we didn’t have the KIs. Mob was usually at 10-20% after the 2nd WS + Skillchain.
Would anything help more to get it down to 2 shots + Skillchain?

Lion/Ultimate/Smiting Blow perhaps?

Yeah, Smiting Blow is going to way out-perform Ultimate. Getting a SCH to come and Thunderstorm you and wearing Rairin Obi would be another large boost that should make the difference. Use Ascetic's if you didn't.

If you made one offhanding a tp bonus axe would also be pretty good tp bonus earring if not. /drg or /war would probably add more dmg then /blm. +ws dmg gear maybe gorget/belt if you weren't using them. Go on thunderday and use thunder obi.

Didn’t think to have one come as SCH, I’ll try that.
Don’t have that Obi…and I doubt I’ll farm one just for brewing…but thanks for the idea for next time I find myself in sea.

I thought SB would be better but didn’t use it that time. I’ll switch it up next run.

As for my sub, I thought the idea is to stack as much MAB on elemental WS, which is why I went /blm. Or is that the rule of thumb when NOT brewing? I don’t have thunder gorget because I usually off-hand Farsha (typically go 95Guttler/90Farsha)**, thus rarely use CS aside from brews.

May have a belt hiding in storage, I’ll tack that on as well.

**I know it’s not the greatest axe to off-hand…but I’m a big Bst fan and made one anyway. Rather not let it collect dust like half the other axes I used to love

Smiting Blow should be enough of a damage boost that you won't need anything to 2-shot it really. It should increase your damage per WS by about 20%.

Wiki often lists placeholder ID's for mobs that are PH for different NM's, specifically those lottery NMs needed for empy trials. How does one determine an in game mobs ID to verify if it is the placeholder or not? Any help would be appreciated.
