Either by widescan order or by renaming the mobs - if there are 5 mobs in an area(mob1 mob2 mob3 mob4 mob5) and when the NM pops, there are only mobs 1245 left, then mob3 is the PH.
That being said, the PH is almost always the last mob in the grouping, or is a mob that swaps either pop location (see megalobugard) or mob type (see hovering hotpot)
Went to reactivate today and I'm getting some network errors. POL-5312 when I first log in, though it doesn't do anything, then POL-1158 when I try to update XI which kicks me out. Using a fresh install from steam ultimate edition, and tried it both with and without windower. Looked online and said it's a somewhat common problem with the steam install.
Currently just downloading an ultimate edition torrent, but is there anything else that would be causing this problem?
Question regarding Steam and buying FFXI: Abyssea Collection...
Will they email the activation codes to me or will it be under the Steam account somewhere? I've never purchased anything through Steam before and just wanted to make sure before throwing money at it.
It'll just activate the ones I'm missing and won't have issues because I already have the FFXI, Zilart, CoP, Aht Urghan, WoTG, and the first Abyssea active?

What's best body for Call Wyvern, Relic +2 body or Empyrean +2 body (add SJ vs. add food effect to wyvern)?
Also for Jump sets, is it as simple as stacking DA/TA etc. or are there other modifiers for Soul/Spirit Jump?
Wyrm Mail for when you use Call Wyvern and Lancer's Mail while you have the wyvern out. The Empyrean+2 body is only active when you have the body equipped.
Soul Jump/Spirit Jump are auto-critical hit, but do not have additional modifiers like normal Jump.
Last DRG question: With 2hour active, does Jump really give 30% def down?
So, having completed and 99'd my Ryunohige, I'm looking to do some testing on the "Augments Jump V" effect.
Since the lvl 75 effect was already 100% crit rate on Jump and high jump the higher tiers can't really add more. So what's it do?
Verified info:
- Auto-crit on jump/high jump. Does NOT work on Spirit/Soul.
- Doesn't seem to be a DMG increase. Unless it's ATK related(tested on lvl 1 mobs.)
Rumors
- ACC bonus. From otherwiki with a verification tag
- High Jump Enmity. A friend read some of the JP wiki on this to me. Something about "Reduces high jump enmity generation like super jump" with Ryunohige. Although whether this is supposed to refer to the enmity from high jump's dmg, or the enmity reduction for the JA itself, I'm not sure. Personally I think this is unlikely

Sooo, +35.. what? ACC? ATK? It's clearly not DMG.
Has anyone heard other rumors that might need to be tested?
I figure the acc thing is the most likely at this point, if rather disappointing. Suggested targets for testing? Preferably a static/verifiable lvl mob. I figure I'll test using blinding pots then test again with a different polearm.
What's the easiest way to skill up weapons now? Does the Castle Zvahl [S] Fort trick still work (up to 75 cap)?
Once you get 250+, throw on 3 Regen Atmas, bring skill up food, or get a PL bot, and AFK @ Melo Melo in Grauberg... Will get levels fast and will never kill him
