If you are suggesting that a Amano can't keep up with other DD assuming all the max buffs, you either haven't played with a good one or are exaggerating to make a point.

I have an Amano, and I know damn well that in VW where my tp/ws split is near matched by other 2h DD Shoha/Kaiten just cannot keep up with Ukko's/50%ODD or Resolution. Not even a comparison really.

In events like Legion, Amano is awesome and really shines. That's not to say Amano can't do well in VW, for mobs like Bismark Ageha+Shoha are really strong together and I've actually parsed on top quite a few times.

It depends on the situation. If you're going to overkill the monster, then it's not. If you're sitting on a lot of FMs, it's probably not.

When skilling up synergy if you pick a skill you later on don't want.. is there a way to 'respec' if you will? Or are you locked with that choice? When I was leveling it up when synergy was introduced I leveled up thwack furnace :<

Not that I'm aware of. Might be something to throw at SE on the OF since they're giving crafting a bit more attention these days.

kinda odd question, but: when i buy a security token, can i unlink it and keep the mog satchel? or does the satchel go away if its unlinked?

Can someone give me an example of what ideally the best daggers are for THF at 99 and some of the gear too?

I plan on just getting the AF and starting there.

Most agree that a STR magian dagger is a must, at least to start with, and is pretty easy to do.

Is Rose Strap a must for X-hit build for 2h weapons still? Wondering if I have to bother with campaign.

Yep, just make sure you have the satchel before you unlink! It can take an hour or so for the game to register it.

Question of my own: New NMs in Dynamis, such as the popped Quadavs in Bastok: Can they be staggered, and if so, is it a stagger type of either job?

exactly. go to other wiki, or bgwiki, and type in "magian trials" and find dagger and follow the path. it's quite simple once you get the hang of it.

if you need it its an ok swap without gimping your damage too badly. avoid it if you can as you can't swap it out for your WS, but don't be afraid to go there if you need the stp. the neo-nyzul gear is great for x-hit builds and can help you dodge swaps like rose/hag stone/hyoui neck, even if you can only realistically get the floor 80 gear

Red curry buns! Requires high level cooking though, since you need to make red curry first, which caps at 100 cooking. Even yellow curry buns sell fast.

I'd get one. Certain setups its the best grip and their isn't a lot of competition in that slot until you get the new DA3 grip.

Couple questions: What food should I be using on COR? RCBs?

I've only done up to Zilart/Jeuno T3 VW, gonna make shouts for 4-6 soon for me and some friends. Are any of the NMs any more threatening than your usual "Proc, zerg, VICTORY!"? Not counting Botulus and Ig-Alima.

For kalasutrax you'll probably want a stun rotation on his tp moves, but that's about it.

For cor in high tier VW, I'd imagine you'd want to use food with racc on it.

It's been circulating around for awhile that the Rubeus set gives +10% fast cast for the first 2 pieces, then an additional +10% fast cast for every piece after that. I've never seen any actual testing, but I always assumed it was true.

Now, bgwiki has it being only 4% and 8% depending on the number of pieces. Is this the real amount and where was the testing on it?
