Draylo Solo'd it on Blu, Mojo dbox'd it on Mnk. I can't find the posts on it right now though. For 90 I believe you had to take him to around 40% wait for closed wings pop screens then zerg him down.

With regards to realmrazer,

is there an ideal amount of MND i should stack before adding more would be less detrimental than say, adding attack? (as in some sort of weapon skill modifier cap?)
roughly what would be the relationship between ATK and MND that I should use when guessing gearsets? (would rancors 17atk be better than sunbeams 6mnd? I'd imagine I wouldn't be anywhere near attack capped on any mob)
how does base weapon damage factor into it? Can i afford to use a lower damage main handed weapon because the modifier is so large?

Failing any of those random (mostly stupid) questions, is there any related research material on the merit point WS's that might be worthwhile to read?

Decided to level BRD, What AF1/Relic should I be getting, if any? Obviously all the AF3 is rather good. Any other pieces of gear I should definitely have?

Offhand, good as the Empyrean set is, the head/feet lack +skill if you're pushing that. For the head, there are several Singing skill options - Relic or Demon Helm with +5, Demon Helm +1 with +6, and Relic +2 and Marduk Tiara with +7. Relic and Marduk also have some CHR for landing offensive songs, but I'm not sure if MAcc would be better for that.

For the feet, Relic or Marduk have String skill, Oracles have Wind, at least.

Musical Earring is also nice if you're looking at relatively simple non-AH items.

That said, not sure how much you really need to build for that in the long run, as far as I know Victory March caps at 600 skill and Minuet V at 680, and you'd have 746 skill naked at 99. There's probably something that benefits from it, just not bread n' butter DD songs, unless something has changed that the wikis have not accounted for.

How good/bad is Apex Arrow?

Pretty good when the ignores def matters. I think there was some testing on it and was a fairly decent amount ignored. And VW nms have alot of def so if you end up never getting min/chaos and still want to /sam like me would probably beat out last stand. Not sure how it would stand vs empyrean ws though

Droprates are so random it's hard to tell. I use them just in case myself

General consensus seems to be:

rubicund - yep
cobalt - meh, preference

I personally use cobalt more now mainly due to wanting more shots at crystal petrifact for the provenance watcher runs that occasionally spring up.
