NIN+WHM would probably be the easiest, since Tarsal Slam doesn't remove shadows.

Newer versions should be working since it broke a few updates back (macro edit box getting stuck behind the book menu). If Darkshade's doesn't work, try one of Deathbringer's on the last few pages. I'm using his December update patch and it's working fine for me.

You can dodge tarsal slam by running out of range or strafing, it's easy to solo.

Any tips for getting a chigoe with innate attack speed? I've been taking pictures of the chigoes in Abyssea - Attohwa because I figured any normal chigoe would be a pain to get to low HP without it dying from a crit. I've gone through a couple stacks of plates so far and only gotten 3 plates with increased attack speed, and none of them have resulted in innate attack speed. (I've also been converting all of the plates, not just the ones with attack speed on them). Anyone know if there are other chigoes that are more likely to give increased attack speed plates?

Also, is "Attack Speed Bonus" at max level significantly better than "Attack Speed +50"?

Yes. Magian specs do not work very well though because you will now get event skipped when they disappear.

Never tried those ones I just did ones in subterran and it's really easy to get them low if you have any source of magic dmg. It's somewhat common on them.

Once it's levled up it does seem to be better but I always used both together for even more speedy speed

I'd say T1 same as always T2 5/5 feint and the rest between AC and AS. Personally I don't really see point in putting 4 more into AC (20% chance to add 1 hit every 5 mins... especially since it goes past attack round cap on evis/DE lol but some people like their epeen)

Me neither really. But generally when I do use it it's very useful. Though I try to make a point of using it more even with dispels in pt. Probably be better if I could steal 2 effects...

The AF2+2 hat lets you steal two effects.
