Now that Kirin's Pole has an enhancing magic augment and with enh. magic going through the roof, how much are poles worth now?

Well it's really been since lvl 99 and the 500 skill tier was found. I mean even for a few months after augments I got them for 10k. Anyways now will depend on server but I've been seeing them for 800k-1.2mil

I kinda want a ranged job, so i'm looking at leveling ranger. I have a problem, though: merit WS. I'm working on my Apocalypse for my DRK as it's my "main", as such, i have entropy and Resolution 5/5. My third merit ws is Ruinator for my bst. I dynamis every night on it and it's pretty pimped out overall. Is Last stand or Apex Arrow an amazing enough WS to dump one of the 3 i have? I'll probably pick up an Armageddon since it's so completely easy to get, and wildfire would be nice to have for shit like Pil. Any thoughts? Do i need apex or Last stand?

Kinda depends on what you do and how much buffing you get. Without decent amount of att buffs I find even last stand doing about the same as wildfire except I have to stand alot closer to the mob and /war. But if you are getting decent amount of att buffs (or shooting stuff that doesn't have huge defense) last stand is absolutely awesome.

Roughly 800k-1500k, but prices definitely vary per server; checking the FFXIAH page on Kirin's Pole for your server should list some Bazaar prices which will give you a better idea of what pricing is appropriate.

Checked there already, there was only one for sale for Bismarck @2m, and that's a single person that may be inflating the price terribly.

If you don't have WF, you need Last Stand. If you do have WF, Last Stand is still better in a few cases, but can by and large be skipped.

Judicator Demons in Ule range supposedly drop absorb-dex. i walked all over the place with widescan and couldn't find the damn things. Anyone have any experience coming across these mobs? I think they used to be around an old exp camp up there?

Speaking of DRK, I'm about to gear mine again since I finished gathering everything a WAR could find useful.
If you had everything DRK could equip, except Phos belt +1, Ganesha's Mala and Porthos byrnie, what would you TP in on DRK using Caladbolg, what would you TP in with Ragnarok, and what would you TP in with Apoc and no aftermath, and Apoc with Aftermath if it's worth using Cata, and is it worth using Cata? And lastly, is it worth getting any of the items I mentioned I don't have? How do they change gear sets? I'm sure Ganesha's is worth getting, but the others I'm not sure about, as for now I'm off to try and research some and see if I can find answers.

Mala is worth it when acc is capped, otherwise use rancor. Porthos body is crap. Phos+1 could be worked in somewhere I'm sure, but by no means necessary.

I actually don't think they drop absorb-dex. There's been other misinformation about this scroll on wiki before, and taking a closer look at the page it says 1 scroll dropped in 25 kills. Noone confirming it in any way. However, if you still want to try, wiki says "Alternates with Dread Demon around K-8 area in Uleguerand Range." and they have 2 pop spots.

I'd suggest and recommend Count Bifrons for the scroll, it's an easy nm to pop, easy to kill and droprate isn't horrible at all, at least in my experience: http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/wiki/Count_Bifrons
