I assume a lot of the VWNMs to be around 500-600 but still not sure.

5/5 all, but.... they really won't make a large difference in performance. If you have augmented AF2+2 body, enlightenment nice for an enhancing skill boost for embravas if you can get to 500+ with it.
I'm almost tempted to say if you only do nyzul on sch, 5/5 grimoire recast (instead of helix potency) so it's easier to swap, it's unlikely you're going to be casting many helixes.
Beast Affinity merits are necessary if you want to use the capped Jug Pets (NurseryNazuna, CraftyClyvonne, PrestoJulio, SwiftSeighard, AudaciousAnna, MailbusterCetas) - it's the only way to raise their natural level caps.
The only effects that Monster Gloves +2 will have are to remove the random level variance when calling uncapped Jug Pets, or if you have the augmented version, to increase the effectiveness of each Beast Affinity merit by adding +1 level per merit. So BA merits are purely at your discretion based on the sort of pet selection you require.
Putting aside the acc att critrate, the DW enhancement-AF3 will never beat the DW delay reduction on AF1.
If you're capped -delay, use AF3/others non-af1
If you need acc|attack|critrate use af3/others non-af1
If you're destroying lowbie stuff solo and don't have access to af3+2 head/thau body/koga+2 hands/koga+2 legs/af3+2 feet style sets, use af1
I really dont remember, it's been a while since I played with Motenten's spreadsheet. Full Str/Dagger merits and Evis is basically abyssea only. I think I wrote them into my XML figuring I'd keep pushing for 4% Crit dmg, gave up after a while and forgot to remove them. Basically boils down to 2% Crit Dmg vs 12Att and 3Dex on a 100% crit rate 30% DEX WSC weaponskill (/war).
Really need to keep pushing for a better augment though.
What's the best low-man strat for Armed Gears? Could a RDM/NIN solo it mostly via DoTs, or would it rage before that?
