Random question or tech question, but has anyone been getting the FFXI-3001 error lately? It's where you get stuck at the Downloading Data... screen then kicked out to the lobby, and if so what are some solutions to this issue? Thanks.

Btw I tried to get the new KI to break my alchemy cap but for some reason the npc is not showing me the desired KI... Do you have to do something special?

I have been looking everywhere but i only found that the KI costs 20k wich I allready have.

Talk to rankup master first, they'll say "Go get way of the _____________ KI", then it'll show in the list.

Spawn location for Baobhan Sith?

Information on Wiki, BG Wiki, basically everywhere still lists him as lottery spawn off the Errliks at J-7, which for those who don't travel in Gustav Tunnel (read: basically all of you and Vana'diel) no longer contain Errliks. When SE increased the level cap and added higher level mobs in many zones, they removed ghost mobs from this area of Gustav Tunnel and put in Mini-Aspids and worms. Have been trying the corner of Gustav Tunnel not occupied by a lottery NM, by Baronial Bat WSNM where 2 Errliks still exist and are surrounded by EP mobs like before, but after 1.5 hours of killing, no Baobhan. Not a long time, but let's face it I'm probably the first one to kill those puppies in months.

Looking to score some Cheviot Cloths to sign some umbras for my LS Mates, and you just don't see that many cloths on the AH any more. And I never liked dealing with Ixtab as he'll drop 0-1, and Sith will drop up to 4.

Can you receive GP in 2 different guilds on the same day?

Edit: Found the answer. After switching contracts you have to wait until the next day before you can turn in.

I'm 99.9% certain he pops past the baronial bat ??? now. There are 2 erlik there like you mentioned, and I remember camping this and seeing him pop in that same area. Considering he's lotto, 1.5hrs isn't really a long enough span to say he simply doesnt spawn there. Could've been killed before you arrived and just got unlucky with the lotto! I'll try to confirm for you later.

Yeah was the only location that made sense to me as well. Guess I figured (read: hoped) that even with such a short camping time I would get lucky that no one was camping it these days (last cloths on the AH was early march, and last capes were listed by me). Like I said, these days I'm just looking to get some orders for friends taking care of. Hoping the change in crafting in this update changes my mood on crafting ^^
