This is true for about every weapon, but "Best non-magian" is roughly "the only thing 95+ on the AH"
I'm not sure on my actual evade rate in dynamis, because obviously when you fight linked mobs the engaged one has signet bonus and the links dont. But There was a very noticeable, eyeballable difference in evade rate against non-engaged links when I'm in normal TP gear (+ Eva Thokcha) and when I'm in oshit eva gear (upon linking 5 bats instead of 2 or something).
But yeah, abyssea or when you're getting Signet bonus, it should be like dasva says. If you're super-tanking DC links in dynamis, you will probably need more, but I couldn't tell you how much off the top of my head.
Worthwhile AF(+1), Relic(+2), Empyrean+2 for each class except DRG, BLU, MNK, RDM, and SCH? Also, still missing merit advise for a few classes and post-update.

AFAIK no statue drops 100 coins anymore, only named NMs, zone bosses, and the zone-specific NMs in dreamlands (I.E. Dragons in Buburimu).
I got my first 100 since coming back to the game a month ago in Bastok today trying to get myself my stage 1 scythe. I got scythe, GKT, and got the 100 off the Ze'Vho Fallsplitter, the DRK NM behind the AH. No stagger.
I have a pretty serious evas set and occasionally even EP can kick my ass if I get a bunch, for the DC ones I'm going to say as much as you can possibly get probably still won't floor you.
But yeah with signet even the hardest dynamis non-trigger-pop mobs are maybe 20-30% hit rate in normal tp gear.
PUP merits:
- 5/5 Melee.
- 5/5 Ranged.
- 1/5 Role Reversal.
- 1/5 Ventriloquy.
- 3/5 Fine-Tuning.
- 5/5 Optimization.
You can remove the ranged merits and put them in magic if you never, ever use the RNG auto in a situation where it could need the racc/ratt (so, basically, anything other than farming TW shit), and put them in magic, if you use the mage autos in enough situations to really notice the slight macc increase.
Relic +2:
WAR: Hands are a very good Upheaval piece (the best, maybe?) and also sport a really nice -3% PDT. The augment gives another 15 seconds of Mighty Strikes, too! Legs are very good for Upheaval, and are very good for Ukko's, even if there are better options.
PUP: Mostly stuff for situations where only the automaton fights. Hands provide one extra haste for the auto and master, legs and feet are good for BLM auto. In reality? I haven't done any AF2+2 PUP piece.
