If war is gonna be basically abyssea only, you should probably trade in widowmaker for Dies Irae as the -30acc wont mean shit for most stuff you farm in abyssea. That has lower delay than widowmaker and I think benefits a 6hit, maybe 5 with phorcys gear.

So now barrage has 7 shots. And there are 2 items that add a shot... will you get 9 with both or cap at 8? Also do they have to be worn when you activate and/or shoot?

I'm pretty sure its 10 (8+2) shots at 99 and you have to wear the items when you shoot.

1) How does Vana'diel's day structure time out according to the real world? I've been getting on around 3-4pm lately and it's almost always been Lightningday when I got on. Is it just coincidence?


2) How is Yilbegan at 99? I want to get a kill/title off of it also out of boredom, but also because it's one of the three 'bosses' in FFXI I've yet to defeat. (the other two being Fjalar and Bismark of CoP VW)

There are 25 Vanadays in 1 real day - if you logged on exactly at 3pm every day, you'd see a different day every time - the day that would normally happen at ~4PM the previous day.

At JP Midnight, it's always a day change. Monday starts with Darksday, Tuesday Firesday, Wednesday Earth, Thursday Water, Friday Wind, Saturday Ice, Sunday Thunder, then Monday Dark again. Lightsday never occurs right at JP midnight.

Yilbegan is an easy duo for THF+RDM, I'm sure there are plenty of other combinations that can do it even easier, though.

Nope. It pops in one of the two (second floor) 15 minutes after ToD. Check the big rooms in the east/west to see if someone is boring it to death with a mage solo method.

For the magian cure pot elemental trials on pixies which would be faster for doing 2 chars: Whm+DD, finish one then swap and Nin+Sch for the other. Or Whm+Sch, nuking and doing both staves at once?

Wouldnt that be way slower? Gotta run around and wait on repops and shit, instead of just killing pixies in an easy zone.
