Sry just returned to game a month ago so I have a lot of random questions. Finished my kannagi and gfs almace yesterday and am working on spell cast gear sets. Would this CDC build be good to model hers off of? If not can someone link a better one? http://www.ffxiah.com/item-sets/203905

Also looking for a good hi build to model mine off but I haven't looked for one yet.

So i am new to Bst, if i merit Beast Affinity once, that would make pets like DY and FF lvl 99 as me without need Relic+2 hands?

Was browsing the other wiki and came across Numbing Shot's page, it says it's Heavily modified by Magic Attack Bonus, I rarely use the WS outside VW procs, but I remember it has missed a few times so that'd make it physical? is other wiki is wrong, or am I going crazy? link: http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/wiki/Numbing_Shot

Anyone else having problems logging on to POL? For that matter, are the official forums down too? None of the links work from http://www.playonline.com/ff11us/index.shtml, I try to click "Proceed on to peruse the test details" for the test server update and it won't load. Anyone else?

Avatar out meleeing body? Augment is reduced merit BP cost, not really useful imo since you should be using caller+2 for that.

What is better for WAR cat2 merits, more into Tomahawk or Warcry? Thinking Sav 5/5 since I barely use Tomahawk and for AF2+2 bonus. Also, for the enhancing crit rate% + on the WAR AF2+2 legs, does that need to be kept on after using Warrior's charge?

back > Rancorous, Crudelis is a decent waist if you aren't hurting for accuracy (possibly anguinus if you do) iirc, Ear to moonshade att/TP bonus, neck to hope.

It's more for capping 95 pets like nazuna at 99, but yeah. You don't need the hands.

I'm pretty sure beast affinity only raises the cap of the pets. They will still be smned 0-2 lvls below the bst lvl without gloves.

I remember reading a rumor about there being some JP theory about that, but I don't recall ever seeing solid evidence of it. Was that ever proven?
