Ya, when I worked for the bank we would see like everyday a message about a bank getting robbed in the area. The most they'd get though was like maybe 1k and then they always got caught within like two weeks.

naw he seriously said that. You can get a lot more off of forging checks than you can off of robbing a bank. That is if you don't get caught obv.

Most people who rob banks don't understand that tellers only have a very small amount of money in their cash drawers because of robberies. We would constantly get more or put in money from/to the vault depending on our limits. And of course, there's the whole dye packs they will try and stick in there.

I actually new a merchant teller who had been at the bank for so long she had to deal with like 5 attempted robberies. I think the first two work, then she realized "fuck that". Guys would come up to her with the note, and she'd simply say "dude I've had a long day, go home." The guys would panic and run the fuck out 'cause they wouldn't expect the teller to talk back.

Most of the people that try to rob a bank are desperate, don't know wtf they're doing, and more scared than the tellers.

It was possible to get away with it. It took them a long time to get me and it didn't have anything to do with the detectives, someone snitched who knew I had the checks. That is where people make mistakes, telling someone else
